time flies

July is the craziest month ever. I keep coming home for a couple days and then having to leave again. Come home from orientation on Wednesday, leave Friday for Illinois, come home from that today, straight to grad party, home. Wednesday I leave again to go camping, home from that Monday, leave Tuesday (the very next day) to go up north again with my bro and Liz and Mel, not back until August 1st.

Between July 11th and August 1st, I am at home about 4 days. Jeez.

Concert at the Ark in Ann Arbor last Thursday night - FREAKING AMAZING. Dar Williams (she played my request!!!!!!!), Cheryl Wheeler, Christine Lavin, and Susan Werner. Dammmnnn it was so great. Folk music fun.

Dave's wedding was...interesting, anyway. I love Dave to pieces, really, so much (he's my cousin, 23, lived with us for a couple years) and...not to be completely rude, but I really, really, really don't like his new wife. At all. So that sucks.

But it was fun being a bridesmaid, and I got to be pretty and hang out and share a hotel room with my 19-yr-old cousin Loren who is a southern girl living in Germany and a compulsive liar, plus she changes clothes like ten times before she decides on something to wear, which is way interesting.

And I danced with my little 4-year-old cousin Olivia like mad all through the reception, and even got her singing along to Beatles songs.

So it was cool.

So if anyone has any particular interest in seeing or talking to me before August, you've got two days, and I want to talk to YOU so gimme me a call.
